VICTOR, N.Y. (WHEC) — Victor Blue Devils boys lacrosse head coach Jim Andre is reportedly stepping down from his position.
The team’s Twitter page tweeted its support for Andre Saturday afternoon.
During his time as head coach, the Blue Devils won four New York State titles and six Section V titles including two consecutive undefeated seasons.
News that Coach Andre has stepped down from his head coach role is a huge loss for Victor lax. A great coach, a mentor, and a leader that genuinely cared for all his players; Not to mention a 4-time state champion and a 50 game win streak. Coach, thank you, you will be missed! pic.twitter.com/uq21Kp2EuT

Many Victor lacrosse players went on to play at the NCAA Division 1 level in Andre’s tenure.
